Integrity is a quality that is much valued in today's world. It is simply that quality to adhere to moral principles and ethics. This is a significant quality required in both life and business or career. Lack of moral values never benefits anyone. People say you should do anything to achieve your dream, however, it is important to keep in mind that the said action should be within ethical boundaries. Integrity is what creates a good reputation for you. If you are dishonest, have no honour; it will be difficult to maintain a good opinion of yourself within the society.
Your worth is defined by your character, your personality and not by the amount of riches and luxuries you may have. You should never follow unethical paths in order to achieve wealth and comfort. It is better to uphold your integrity and live with bare minimum than to lose your morality and become rich. That being said, it doesn't mean that if you follow moral practices, you won't be successful. Success comes from hard work. As long as you have the will to be successful and the motivation to work hard for it, you can achieve it without sacrificing your morals. Always remember, anything acquired through unlawful, dishonest means is temporary. On the other hand, rewards of hard work are permanent.
